May i know if we can use Active Directory to get user information for Altair Monitor

Hi All,

Currently we are using LDAP to get user user data such as email, business group etc for License Monitor.
May I know if it is possible to configure Active Directory to get similar data.

If possible can you share the steps to be followed, I tried searching in the guide with no luck.

I realize it's been a while since you posted, apologies no one has responded.

This link below can help you get started with the LDAP configuration. Keep in mind you may have to customize the configuration to suit your environment, you can modify base DN and associated configurations in the mentioned ldap config file. The page also outlines steps to test LDAP.

I see you tagged version 2021.1, a lot of issues with LDAP were fixed recently in 2023 versions. It may be beneficial to pursue an upgrade, especially if you're using a newer Active Directory and utilize LDAPS.
