Hi,

In order to automate a post treatment for different simulation, I used the GLOBAL_OUTPUT_REQUEST card to generate .disp file. The problem is that there is no space separator between different columns for negative values, it's hard to separate the datas quickly when reading in Excel. Here is an example of displacement in 2 nodes for a given load step:

Is there an option to modify the columns length or the number of digit of each values in order to have a space separator?

Thanks,

    what format is this? OPTI?

In Excel couldn't you just use Data to Collumns and used delimited by number of digits?

Thanks for the response, yes it's OPTI format,

Actually it's possible with Data to Collumns, the problem is that the first line with informations and the following with actual datas doesn't have same pattern. By doing this the key words and numbers  on first line are splitted and not readable.

I think the simplest way is to reduce the number of digits (4 digits instead of 5 in the example above), or the columns length (13 or more instead of 12). Is one of the options possible ?

    thanks,
