"File being opened for reading does not exist" while importing stl

Hi all, I''m trying to read several .stl files (not at once) but HM throws the above-mentioned error no matter if they're saved as binary or ASCII. The files are rather large, between 50-500MB, but the file size normally shouldn't be a problem. The files definitely exist at the specified locations, so I'm pretty clueless what to do with that.

    Which version of Hypermesh?

I can give you a try if you can share the file.

Version 2019.1, the files are being created with nTopology version 2.4.5 and can be read by Fusion 360, Inventor, Ansys Spaceclaim, Meshmixer and various others, so the files shouldn't be corrupt. I tried deleting the temp, setting and appdata files already, but to no avail.

Strange, it works now here as well. Maybe a good old pc restart is all that was needed. Thanks for your help anyway.
