BEAM MESH - ELLIPTICAL SECTION

Hi,

I am using beam elements for meshing my structure and I want to assign an elliptical cross-section.

I am trying with a "generic section" without success. Does anyone know how to do it?

    Hi,

     

    assuming that you have a geometry of this ellipse, meshe it using 2D elements, and then, go to 1D>>HyperBeam>>solid section.

    select your elements in any shape, and it will create for you a section with these properties.

    Then you will be able to use this user-created section into your bar elements.
