Modelling isotropic-biaxial anisotripic half space problem

I would like to know if it is possible to determine the transmission and reflection coefficient for a half space problem in FEKO? Half space problem contains isotropic-biaxial anisotropic interface. I tried modelling in FEKO and requested for the reflection and transmission coefficients, but came across simulation errors. Is there a FEKO example for this problem?

    Hi shan25

     

    There are two options for modeling dielectric half spaces in FEKO: the reflection coefficient approximation and the exact Sommerfeld integrals approach.

    Unfortunately neither of these currently support anisotropic media.

     

    As such, it is unclear that method you are using in FEKO to model the above. If you could share your FEKO model with us, we would be able to comment in more detail.

    Thanks for your reply. Can FEKO compute the reflection and transmission coefficients of a single layer biaxial anisotropic slab problem? i.e. isotropic-biaxial anisotropic-isotropic interface. Can it also treat in homogeneous anisotropic media?
