Hi, I have an excel file which contains the number of nodes, the position of the nodes and the temperature of each of them.

How can I import this file and use it as an Input for a structural Analysis?

Hi,

arrange a new sheet and fill node numbers in column C, temperature in column D (copy/paste from your excel file)

fill "TEMP" to column A, and 1 to column B (just input once then double click to fill all)

save the sheet as a csv file, example input.csv

rename the file to "input.fem" (optional)

then you can import it as an optistruct input file.

Do you need already a meshed geometry right?

if i want to include also informations about the coordinates of each node?
