Trouble with License Activation for Student

Hi there, I believe I have a problem activating my student license, as when I try and import an stl file, I get this error code in Hyperworks "Warning:  Unsupported cards found in the I/O options section have been written as unsupported control card.

Summary:Feinput finished with 0 errors and 1 warnings."

I know the issue is not with the stl file itself, as it has worked in Hyperworks for other individuals and I can open it in more basic 3D software programs.

When checking the license log in systems, I note these messages.

[11/21/22 22:14:23] System Error: No Auth Token in HHWU Config

I'm thinking it might be an error in the local ethernet ID. When I use the tool provided by Altair to find the address, it match the ip cofigaration of something called "Ethernet adapter Ethernet 5" and not the "Ethernet adapter local area connection". I've also, when using ipcof/all in command prompt got the connections listed of "Wireless LAN adapter Local Area Connection* 1", "Wireless LAN adapter Local Area Connection* 12", "Wireless LAN adapter WiFi", "Ethernet adapter Bluetooth Network Connection". Is this issue preventing me from using the software properly, or is it something else?

The license looks to have been checked out correctly? If it were not, you wouldn't be able to open HW at all.

Are you trying to use legacy HM or the new interface?

I think stl import is only supported in the new interface for the student edition (import as solver deck)

Sorry, I'm quite new to this all. How can I tell if it's the legacy or new interface?

Ok so I believe that I am using the new interface. However despite importing my stl file as a solver deckimageimage

The loading bar at the bottom quickly changes to "Translator doesn't exist" before resetting to normal?
