how to assign material and properties to many fasteners.

After generating connectors using the Attachment & Connect workflow, I have hundreds of fasteners, which dont seem to have a material of property assigned to them. How can you get these to select one material and one section property efficiently?

A further question. After mid-meshing and mapping thickness to a number of components, I expected that these would have the property automatically assigned to the parts, but this doesnt seem to be. Can you let me know how to do this / did I do something wrong what mapping thickness?

    Hello Andrew

I would recommend you to go to connector control manager and check the connector attachment. There is an option to define Property and Material . You assign your CBEAM/CBAR property and re-realize the connector again after performing the modification of adding property.

For map thickness tool , which thickness output was selected ?

This tool will automatically create PSHELL properties and assign it to the component or the element directly. Maybe in your case the property has been assigned directly to the element. Do you have PSHELL properties generated in your model ?
