How can I draw a 2d cylindrical object so the y axis will be the symmetry line?

Hello,

I would like to sketch the object above in 2d in which the y axis is the symmetry line. Also, the object is hollow.

Because I'm very new to flux, I would like some advice on how to make this sketch.

Thank you very much

Oded

    Hi,

From the supervisor you have access to the examples of Flow. there is an example which shows how to use the sketcher. to find the example:

    • Open Flux supervisor
    • Select 2D>> select example
    • Technical tutorials
    • Select: Magneto Static application: sensor.

The aim is seen how you can use the sketcher to create your device. Once the geometry is created, you need to create the physics (define type of application, materials, face regions…etc). In your case you need to use axisymmetric application (rotation around y axis).

    Best regards.
