I have been trying to capture the center line of any given pipe/tube.
But I don't find any readily available API. So, how should I proceed so that I can create one for myself ?

To do something in any case, you must first limit it in some simple cases which almost cases could be divided into, like calculate area, mass of any comp by sum of its elems
