Geometry Clean Up Question

Hello,

I have been having issues with Geometry Auto clean up function in Hypermesh v2017. I want to remove and tag holes, blends etc., and the auto clean up function runs but ends up performing none of the actions. Especially, the issue seems to persist for midsurfaces generated from STEP file format.

 

I am using Catia v5 to export STEP format in AP242 version.

 

I am using the following topology parameters for clean up function. The screen grab is attached.

 

I would appreciate some help in resolving the issue.

 

I usually had good success with auto clean up function in v14 & below!

EDIT: I went back to v14 and it seems like I am having similar issues. Is there any special setting I need to enable or something? Note: My desktop recently received a formatting and fresh install of Win-7 OS along with fresh installations of Hyperworks (2017 initially and now v14 based on my request) along with other packages. AFAIK, pre-formatting, geometry clean up worked really well. 

 

Any suggestions folks?

    Did you check the dimensions of imported file in Hypermesh?
