3D Elements Clean Up Options

Hi,
I guess this is kinda rudimentary question.

Lets say I have created solid 3D meshes (Tetra or Hexa) directly (i.e. not from shell elements) in HM and I have some elements failing in quality checks. What tools are available in HM to repair or rework bad 3D elements? I am aware of smooth function available in 3D panel but I am hoping for better awareness of repairing 3D mesh to get satisfactory elemental quality in HM.

Thx

Sometimes you can repair bad elements easily (2D mesh, tet4,...) but that's NOT always possible, especially with 2nd order mesh.

In general remesh with different parameters can help.

^^Thanks. Surprising to find out that there aren't clean up functions available for 3D elements.
