Feature Request

I wanted to provide a feature request in Hypermesh. I get assemblies sometimes which contain 250+ parts and thus equal number of collectors are created. Many a times, I would need to refer to the collector name and/or property. Color coding helps to a certain extent but colors are usually repeated both for component & property collectors. What would be useful is some kind of a reverse Review feature. That is, I click on the component/elements/Geometry I am interested on screen and Hypermesh will provide me with relevant info i.e. component collector name, property name etc.

 

If the above feature is already available in Hypermesh, please provide instructions as it would really be a huge time saver!

Hi,

Appreciate your  idea and we will put up a RFE request on this.

But for the time being as a workaround, you can try with the selector option. Once this option is used HyperMesh outlines the selected entities with a thick white line in the graphics area, and highlights the entity names in grey in the Model browser.

Hi,

Did you see these information when you pick a component. If not, please use entity selector as George mentioned

Thx for the reply. What George has suggested may be exactly the feature I am looking for. I will try it out.
