Upon launching I receive the following error

Error loading C:/Program Files/Altair/2023/Inspire2023/hwx/plugins/freedom/gui/win64/bin/hwfdmplugin.dll: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I also cannot find any help or related problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Samuel,

There is a fair chance that one of the important DLLs is being deleted from that folder during installation by anti-virus. Can you try re-installing the tool with Antivirus on off mode?

    Hi everyone,

I have the same problem than the one describe above.

I try to run Inspire on a Windows 11 Parallels virtual machine with a MacBook Air M3.

I checked the files and "hwfdmplugin.dll" is not deleted. I also tried to uninstall and reinstall Inspire, it doesn't change anything.

Do you have any idea of solution ?

    Thanks.

    Thomas

    Hello NT,

What version of Inspire do you have and did you check if the dll mentioned above is there in the location?

    Regards,

    Milan

    Hello,

I have the same problem and the file is in the indicated location. I have Inspire version 2023.1.

I also have another PC on which to install inspire but I don't know how to request a new licence because I can't repeat the first step described here : https://web.altair.com/altair-student-edition
because I've already created an account using my university email address.

    Thank you,

    Valentine

    Folks,

At present Inspire Form is not officially supported on Macs with M Series CPU and Parallels.
