How to characterize intra-variability in tablet coating with EDEM

I want to know if there are any API models in EDEM to characterize the intra-variability on pharmaceutical tablet coating?

The spray coating model released here can show the inter-variability of one batch of tablets, and several post-process methods have been proposed to trace the intra-variability, but if there are methods to show the intra-uniformity for every single tablet like the picture (obtained by post-process) in EDEM?

Or if i can trace the position of tablets or record contact on tablets in custom properties to achieve this target?

Or if there are any suggestions?

Thank you.

    Hi Lec,

Thanks for posting about this. We are currently working on an intra-particle coating model with the ability to show the mass material recorded on each particle triangle. If you would like to be involved with testing once a beta of the model is ready, please drop me an email at lscott@altair.com.

    Kind regards,
