Hello everyone!

I have a mesh of RVE with symmetric opposite surfaces.
My goal is to make Periodic Boundary Condition (PBC) for this model.

The problem is - My mesh (nodes) is not symmetric on opposite surfaces.
Is there any tool to remesh the model to get symmetric nodes on opposite surfaces?
Attached model below.

Thank you!

    Hi,

    It is possible for shell elements to get symmetric nodes on opposite surfaces using imprint option. It imprints, connects and optionally remeshes source 1D/2D elements onto target 2D elements.

    Thank you

    @PrasannaK Thank you for reply!

    I successfully copied mesh by Mesh-Translate-Elements tool.
    So now I have completed correct 2D mesh but cant make 3D mash out of it.

    Can make 3D mesh of the inclusions by Volume Tetra tool but couldn't find any way to mesh Cubic part.
    I just learning Hypermesh, guess I'm doing something wrong in this particular case.
    Attached the model, will be very grateful if you'll take a look.

    Hi Daniil,

    You can generate tetramesh from the pre-existing trias (2D mesh) as follows:

    Click on 3D > Tetramesh > Fixed trias/quads to tetra mesh 'elems' > select the elements 'all'.
