Dear All,

I am trying to do the tutorial of the rubber spring but when I am setting the analysis load step, I can't find the Analysis type Geom non linear (implicit)

Is there something missing in my version of HW?

    Hi,

NLGEOM Implicit is no more available on GUI. You can either use non-linear transient analysis type or Edit the deck manually in the text editor and NLGEOM implicit to the deck as shown in the attached image and use solver manager to start the simulation.

    Hi,

Thank you very much for the recommendations. I will try both cases and see wich one will suit better for me.

    Thanks again

    OK,

But please keep in mind that NLGEOM uses RADIOSS as solver whereas non-linear transient analysis uses OptiStruct as the solver.

I could also see this option in v2017.2. So when i update it with latest Hotfix, this option is no longer available
