Hi,

I am using Hypermesh as preprocessor and RADIOSS as a solver and have to define the gravity load to my model. Should the gravity load be defined for all the components or one does not need to specify the components? 

To my understanding, one need not define components for gravity loading. I have seen a tutorial in which the component nodes were selected.

 

So now I have a doubt if one need to define or not?

Hi Ushay,

Normally we apply gravity load on the node group. So I recommend you to select all the nodes of the component you wish to apply the gravity load.
