Modeling magnetic current distribution on an aperture

Hello all,

I want to excite a circular aperture by a magnetic current distribution that correspond to the TE11 mode. Is this achievable via Altair FEKO?

Hi @AGirlHasNoName ,

the only option in Feko that could be considered is a circular waveguide (port) where we can specify which mode should be excited.

Maybe another option would be to use a near field aperture source with the correct fields for the TE11 mode manually specified.

Or a combination of te above: Excite the circular waveguide port with the TE11 mode and request the fields for export, to then import these as a near field aperture source in the model with the physical aperture.
