While performing a modal simulation, the following error is being encountered.

Volume elements  4601519 869786 869849 share common face.

What does this mean and how to resolve this?

    Logically, one face can be shared by maximum 2 elements. In your case, there're 3 elements.

    Check your mesh within Hypermesh.

    Maybe duplicates or any retained shell elements?
