Can i export mesh from hypermesh to Patran ?

    Hypermesh => Export Solver NASTRAN => Import into Patran ?

    Hi Oggy,

     

    also, make sure you are in Nastran user profile before you export and update all the elements (goto 2D>> ElemType>> update all 1D, 2D and 3D elements) to avoid any loss in the data

    i try it but it doesn't working !! i saved my file .bdf when i imported to patran i don't say anything

    I don't use Patran so I can't help.

    Just check Patran's import support and Hypermesh's export. If you found the same format for both, it should be ok.

    for patran we can import file .bdf this extension we can get it by export file from hypermesh with nastran profil. i don't really understand why i can't view anything after exporting

    So your exported Nastran file from Hypermesh is really EMPTY ?

    Maybe check 'Entity State' for your meshing components ?
