How can I adjust the contact between legs and ground?

Hello everyone!
I am doing this simulation of this quadruped, the movement of the legs is correct but it seems that the legs are glued to the ground and it slides, does anybody know how I can adjust the contact between the legs and the ground?

Hello Paola - Could you check if there are any joints or constraints that are applied on the legs ? I would also recommend to check the mass/inertia properties.

If you can share the model, someone might be able to have a quick look and see what's wrong.

    Hi, Paola.

If you don't find any extra joints or constraints after checking Praful's suggestion, I'd recommend adjusting the model slightly to provide a clearance between the ground and the contacting body or bodies.  There may be issues if the contact in question is experiencing initial penetration, particularly if the contact normals are inverted.

    Thanks
