Hello everybody
I am coupling Edem-Fluent for simulation of turbulent flow in tube. when I use static factory with random velocity it run correctly.
When I use dynamic factory, Fluent can not get any particles from Edem. It writes " No particles found in EDEM solution" and "No EDEM particles found in fluent".
Could you please guide me in this field?

Best,
Fatemeh

    Hi,

From the coupling point of view there is no dependence on the factory type. All the coupling does is pass particle data between EDEM and Fluent. If there are particles present then you should see a message in Fluent stating how many have been found.

The factory itself has no say in how the coupling works, though it clearly determines how particles are introduced into the system. If there are no particles detected when you run with a dynamic factory, I'd first double check that your factory is behaving as you think it is by running it in EDEM alone, without Fluent.

    Cheers,
