Hello everybody.
I use EDEM-Fluent coupling.I study agglomeration and deposition of particles in a turbulent flow in a tube.  I want to import geometry from Ansys. (I used a simple cylinder without any thickness for the wall in spaiceclaim.)

As I import the cylinder in the EDEM it seems as a solid, so no particle can enter to the tube.
(Although I have a name selection as inlet-outlet- wall in spaceclaim there are not shown in EDEM)
Can you guide me what should I do about geometry?

    Hi Fatemeh ,

Instead of importing cylinder has a single part, import it has a multiple parts.

i.e hollow tube and end faces separately and one/both the end faces can be utilized to create particles depend on your requirement.

    Thanks,
