How to hide Component in Loadstep

Hi guys,

maybe someone can help me.

 

At university i have to analize a bike frame. I have to put on several tests. I want to simulate all tests at one time. For every test case i created a load step. The problem is now, that every test needs other components (rigits, bars, beams, etc.). My questions now: How to hide components for certain loadsteps? or: How to apportion a component to a loadstep? Is this actually possible?

    Hi Clemens

    Rarely used, but please try:

    1. Create an entity set stores concerned elems in your loadstep

    2. Edit card of the loadstep and check on SUBMODEL to select that set as SID

    Hi tinh,

     

    i created the entity set, but this set doesn't appear in the SID of the SUBMODEL. (I'm using Optistruct) What about the card image and ordered/non- ordered?

    With the card image SET_ELEM the set can be selected.

    Right way?
