how to make hexa mesh

hello to all,

here i attached cad model snap , now i make hexa mesh for this component where i start region to make mesh in that component , i try to make mesh but its there small samll fillet but i cannot capture this one , so any one guide me .

Hi YukeshKumar,

Please let us know what is the type analysis are you going to work on with this component?

If this is a rigid component you can use Wrap mesh which captures the boundaries but the mesh may not be a good quality mesh.

If this is a flexible component, you can Hex Mesh this, but time taking process with this component. Use defeature options to remove fillets (Geom Page>> defeature).

Or, to save time you can use 2nd order tetra elements to mesh this.

You might want to use Simlab for such complex components.

It's not so easy to build a full HEX meshing for this kind of geometry. The solution is maybe :

Mixte HEX/PEN/PYRA/TET mesh
Full TET10 mesh

i think this structural analysis , but must need hexa and penta , not tet sir
