hpyerstudy EDEM integration to run DOE with EDEM variables invariant

When running the DOE with hpyerstudy EDEM, the DOE runs as planned, but the design variables set in hyperstudy are not entered into the EDEM and remain at their initial values (input file) and do not change. What is the problem?

Can you edit hst_input.hstp from different DOE run folders. Are the input values populated there (the values that you see in the Evaluatuion Data tab)?
