What is the support lifecycle for Hyperworks 2017 i.e. how long is it to be supported for?

    HW2017 is not developed anymore. It is still there, if you have the installation files.

    But Altair will not do anything with it. All bugfixes and enhancements are developed for the newer versions. Once a new version is available, usually there's no new updates for older versions.

     

    Do you have any specific reason why you need to stick to this version?

    On Altair Connect, you can download only new releases. So I think 2017 is "dead" release.
