HI,

what is the best way to model an acceleration within hypermesh? Situation is, that  I have an assembly, consisting out of multiple parts, that are connected. Now I want to put a acceleration/peak of 5g or 10g to only some parts and see how the other parts interact and how the stresses work out.

Maybe somebody has an idea. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

The ACCEL, ACCEL1, and ACCEL2 entries are used to define the application of static acceleration loads at grid points in the model.

    Hi,

yes I tried it this way, but  am not sure, whether I did something wrong, because only minor displacement occured, which does not make sense. Therefore I think I maybe did something wrong within the modeling, especially if I want to model more or less an acc.peak.
