Cannot open 2nd HM session

Hello HM experts,

 

My Hypermesh(v2017.2) and my colleagues recently have had a serious issue.

We cannot open 2nd HM session, we can open only one. I checked on Task manager and saw few opengl.exe running in process tab but the size is smaller (~250 MB) than the 1st one.

 

Could you have any comments and advice how to solve this issue? Thank you!

    Is there any custom start-up tcl script ? script may prevent GUI

     

    How long did you wait for 2nd session GUI launching up?

    before GUI appearing, hmopengl.exe may need time to check license, ... if license server responses slowly, it will take a few minutes

    first time running after installation it even needs to load GL funcs, take a few minutes

    I cannot open 2nd session even wait for hours.

    Actually, I already called Altair Support and found this issue only happen in user account (not full writing permission). Admin account is fine.

    This bug was fixed in v2017.2.2.

     

    We can close this topic.
