Hello Uri,
I hope you are doing fine, So I just checked your model I have few recommendations for you
1. I see that gate geometry is overlapping on the cast part, gate overlapping is only on one side, you modify accordingly.
2. If you can decrease the gate thickness and give it a try again.
See the attached image also the reason for mesh failing, one is solid and another one is liquid, so
It will create a problem, for time being you can boolean that part and try, use the gate mesh factor as a lower value it should work.Regards,

Thanks Sourav
1. I did not understand the answer regarding one is solid and one is liquid and what should I do.
2. Why did you circle blue the Core edges?

Uri,
1. There is the core and the runner system and they are crossing each other.
2. There is a core and the runner system, that will create the problem in the meshing that's the reason I circled blue.

Uri,
PFA Parasolid file, you just need to use these factors and element size as 3.7mm. Give it a try and let me know.
