what is the exact representation of fillet welds(in hypermesh) and how to do that in hypermesh

    i believe this question is a little bit open, as the representation is given by the analyst, depending on the effect that you want to calculate.

    Lots of people adopt for example hot spot stress or volvo method for welding representation.

     

    HM has a few options under the connectors panel, seam welds, for shells or solids.

    Please take a look at the help for this panel (F1) and you will see a few options. I believe there are a few tutorials as well in the tutorials page.
