Hardware requirements for hyperxtrude

Dear all.

 

I would like to ask for hardware requirements for altair hyperxtrude.

 

Something like the following will be ok for example?

 

Cpu: Ryzen 9 3900x

Gpu: Geforce GTX 1660 Super Gaming OC 6gb or Invidia Quadro 620 (because many users propose quadro gpu)

Ram: 64 gb DDR4-3200 MHz

500gb SSD +2Tb HDD

Hi,

 

HyperWorks do support Nvidia graphics cards, but not the Geforce series. Nvidia Quadro series is officially recommended. The Quadro series is more geared towards CAD and graphics designs, while the GeForce line leans towards gaming.

However, you can still work with the GeForce series. The thing is, you may face some graphical issues.

Also, check this to see the difference between Geforce and Quadro series of Nvidia. You can understand which series is best suited for software/simulation/design application.

Concerning the CPU that I mentioned above (AMD RYZEN 9), do you think that I will face any problems?

cpu will be fine.

 

For HX you need RAM and CPU. Ryzen will be fine in this case.

Any Nvidia Quadro GPU should be OK.
