Added Mass Calculation in Hypermesh for LS Dyna Solver

Hi all,

I am trying to calculate the value of added mass in Hypermesh using Check Elems Panel. Please see that I am using LS Dyna user profile.

When I click on the element in question, I get following value

But when I click on check elems panel. I get following message on status bar

There is difference in two vales of added mass. This may be small. But it becomes significant when I consider an entire assembly instead of single element 

LS Dyna added mass value is similar to that of the status bar message. I would like to know the reason for the diference in values.

This is needed because I am trying to write a script to calculate added mass and the api I am using is giving the wrong value of added mass (From 1st Picture).

Hi Sai,

It will be good if you can share the hm file. We need to verify this at our end and need to check with Development team regarding the issue you are facing. So, If possible, please do share the hm/fem file for verification.

Hopefully you are using 2023version.
