Hi,

I had FEM of part C. Can i import it directly inside related Assembly ?

Example: An assembly A contains Sub assembly B. Inside sub assembly B, i had geometry of Part C.

In separate FEM input file i had FEM of part C.

Is it possible to import the FEM of Part C, so that it will directly come as component inside Sub assembly B ?

Thanks in advance

    Hi,

Yes, this works. You first need to delete the component in the main assembly, then importing the .hm file of the component places the component in the exact location with the mesh.

Once imported, you can move to any assembly, as you want.
