I am trying to design an outer rotor SRM motor. I have to find field strength 'H' for various segments of motor like for air gap, stator and its yoke etc....

The research papers that i have followed says that the 'H' values can be obtained from 'B' values of the respective segments using BH curve of the respective material. Can someone please tell me how to get these 'H' values. and if it is not too much that i am asking, can you please also tell me how to get 'B' values too......

PS: I am not sure how to use BH curve graph

Thank you.

    Hi,

Did you managed to model your motor in Flux? If it is the case, once the project is solved you have the possibility to compute the magnetic field and flux density in each part of the motor. You can use isovalues to see the flux density (magnetic field), you can also create a path and see the evolution of the flux density (magnetic field).

From the curve B(H), you can get the value of the flux density and the magnetic field (see attached file).
