I'm interested in simulating radiated fields of an HF Receiver device (45MHz is the intermediate frequency of work). The main stages of the Rx PCB are coupled filters (with LC resonance at 45MHz), so I simulate them by helix elements, line elements and ports loaded with capacitors. So far everything is fine, but I can't find a proper way to simulate inner stages which work as amplifiers. I tried to create a port and load a SPICE subcircuit with a voltage-dependant voltage source, modeling in this case the source factor as the amplifier gain. It didn't work, I don't remember well the error but it was related to the SPICE file subcircuit (I'm attaching it to this post).
I'm not sure if it is OK the manner I've chose to make the simulation, so I want to ask you:
Do you have some idea about how to simulate an active amplifying stage in FEKO guys? Apart from that, anyone can check of the subcircuit file is OK?
Greetings
