Hello Everyone.

I am working on Hypermesh with LS Dyna interface.

I have two problems

The First: Once crated a rigid wall (right click > create > rigid wall), below the  "Support menu", there are two section unspecified:

NSID(Node set ID) and BOXID( box for selecting slave nodes).

Can anyone tell me how to create a NSID and a BOXID selection please?  Refer to (FIG 1)

The second: I have to connect the rigid wall to the face of the cylindrical element (Blue) with the function "CONTACT RIGID SURFACE"

Can anyone tell me how to create a PSID(slave node set ID). refer to FIG 2

Any help is welcome

Regards.

    Hi,

To create 'NSID': enter panel Analysis>entity sets

To create BOXID, enter panel Analysis>blocks:

To create PSID for contact, enter panel Analysis>entity sets:

<note that we change 'card image' from 'Node' to 'Part'>

    HI Tinh!

    Thanks for your help!

I am creating a "NSID", following your instructions.

When I Have to select nodes, what kind of nodes do I have to select?

Nodes that belong to the cylindrical element?

    Regards

    Actually I don't know!

Every node that could hit the rigid wall!

If you don't know which nodes could hit the rigid wall, then select all nodes!

Both The rigid wall and the cylindrical element have to be immobile.
