File Path of a Folder with Space in the Folder Name Error

Hi Folks, 

Datawatch can't seem to pick up a folder location that has white spaces in its name. 

I've tried enclosing the whole path in double-quotes (""), single-quotes ('') but it doesn't work.  

Sample Path: \path_1\path_2\this path has spaces\file_folder\file_name

Has anyone experienced this before and can share a solution.

Is this for a standard process?  Unfortunately I do not have access to v12.2 anymore but I did verify that in v15.3, Automator does pick up a UNC path with spaces without having to put quotes around it.  I checked for inputs, input distribution, exports, and export distributions.

One possibilty that automator may not be picking up your path is that the agent service account does not have the appropriate permissions to access that path.  Is the path you are trying to pick up from located on the same server as automator or a different machine?

Update: FWIW, I looked through our bug database and found a similar issue (VPD/File path: it is impossible to save path with contains space), but this deals with a visual process.  There were no real details in the ticket but it did say it was resolved in v12.5.

Hi Tom, 

I noticed you mentioned Server version 12.2.   Altair Knowledge Works- Monarch Server is now on version 15.3 which Support Provides assistance for version 14 and higher.  Will have to reach out to my support colleagues to know if this is corrected/handled in our latest version.
