I would like to understand how to carry out mesh convergence study w.r.t to our product.
I would like to decide minimum CPU time and optimum mesh size.

    Hi Shifali,
A very basic mesh convergence would be to run the original problem with a default mesh, following basic guidelines, min number of elements around features, thicknesses etc, and run your baseline study. You would then conduct local refinement in the areas of concern, or you could refine the entire mesh, and study the variation of stress/displacement, as the mesh is refined.
Do keep in mind if you have singularities, due to geometric simplifications or due to point constraints or connections, they will tend to distort the results at those locations.
    Hope this helps.
