Running RADIOSS from Hyperstudy
I was hoping that you could clarify some points. Can you confirm whether I should be able to execute a Hyperstudy analysis with RADIOSS?
If it is the case I would be grateful for some tips as I cannot progress beyond a licence error.
RADIOSS runs fine from the Hypermesh session.I get RADIOSS to start but it bangs out with a licence error...

I suspect this issue is related to naming. Please refer to similar query .

I also tested Radioss + HyperStudy coupling by referring HS-4220 & it works as expected. Please refer below video which covers up to nominal run.

I have been executing the Hyperstudy workflow exactly as per your video. It results in the Licence check error message as described in first post.
To confirm that my Hyperstudy workflow was correct I did the following
- I use Hyperstudy Evaluate->Write to create the deck
- Execute the solve manually/interactively through Hyperworks the ALTDOCTAGS are appended and the solution succeeds
- Delete the solver outputs, leaving just the .rad files with the ALTDOCTAGS
- Run the Hyperstudy Evaluate->Execute step (NOT the Evaluate->Write)
- Results is a successfule RADIOSS.bat solve.
The issue is that the RADIOSS.bat process does NOT append the ALTDOCTAGS required by the Student Edition licence
My question is NOT how to run Hyperstudy, but IS 'does the Student Edition licence allow RADIOSS to be used within Hyperstudy'
If not, fair enough
But if the licence should allow it then what can I do to remedy the situation

We are working on your query. We will get back to you.

When HyperStudy is running in EDU mode it is expected to append the altdoctag to solver input decks for OS, RAD and MS when the a Parameterized Model is generating the input file . In the v2019.0 release this does not happen all the time. The root cause has been identified. We will let you know once the fix is available in upcoming version of Student Edition.

That's great news

Do you have an estimate for fix?

hello,
i am doing the HS-4200, i have the same problem that the Nominal Run can not be performed, that means i can not get
TENSILE_TESTT01 file. i use the
Altair Home: C:/Program Files/Altair/14.0do you think it is beacuse of the version of software? and hyperworks14 can not do the model calibration in hyperstudy?
thank you very much!!!i really need your help about this, i am writing my PhD thesis i need more simulation results about this!
