Modeling and Controling a Ball Balancing Table with Altair Activate (co-simulation & hardware-in-the-loop)

I am working on the Acrome Ball Balancing Table (BBT) using Simulink at the moment and I want to use Altair Activate to programme the BBT later. I have read through an article written by Lorenzo Moretti about controling the BBT using Altair Activate: https://altairuniversity.com/bbtarticle/ . In the article, it mentioned that Altair Activate has hardware-in-loop functionality and can work with Arduino. However, I could not find any information online about hardware-in-loop function in Altair Activate but only in Altair Embed. May I know is there any adds-on to the Altair Activate to work with Arduino?

I appreciate your interesting on Acrome Ball Balancing Table (BBT)! Your question makes a lot of sense, and the answering of it is: You can do HiL on Activate (besides Embed as you told)!

On this case specifically you will need Arduino Library (which will be available soon on next Activate's releases), that library would make possible the communication (pins, ports and so on) to Arduino (as Lorenzo's documentation shows).
