FSAE libraries error
Hello,
I recently downloaded the FSAE libraries folder from your website (link attached below) and started exploring it on motionview a few days ago. On importing the FormulaSAE rear suspension model and using the check model button on the software, It threw me the following errors:
Unknown symbol BLANK...Error resolving entity UCA attach body under Model-Rear SLA susp with pull-rod (1 pc. LCA). [General]
Unknown symbol BLANK...Error resolving entity LCA attach body under Model-Rear SLA susp with pull-rod (1 pc. LCA). [General]
Unknown symbol BLANK...Error resolving entity Toelink attach body under Model-Rear SLA susp with pull-rod (1 pc. LCA). [General]
Unknown symbol BLANK...Error resolving entity Rocker attach body under Model-Rear SLA susp with pull-rod (1 pc. LCA). [General]
Please note that I have not made any changes to the model.
Please guide me on the changes I have to make in order to fix this problem.
P.S: I have just started using motionview so I am not proficient with this software yet.

Thanks a lot Chris!
I watched those videos and now I am now able to load the model and run the required analysis without any errors.
But after the analysis is complete, I am not able to view the reports.
When I go to Analysis -> view reports and select the required test, it shows a segmentation error and closes the program.
Is this because of the student version I am using?
Can I solve this problem, and if not, Is there a different way to view the graphs?
Hello Vendant-
The page you linked has an instruction guide, and some videos after that. The first set of text based instructions are rather confusing, and actually not the proper way to use the tool. I would ignore those instructions.
I would suggest you take a look at the videos (starting with the half-car video), which starts with showing you how to point your installation of motionview to use these customer Baja/FSAE libraries. Make sure you are using the Model Wizard to load and assemble your model. If you have correctly set up all the pathnames when setting up the custom wizard selections, everything should work as expected. I was able to set things up, and load in a half car model, as well as a full vehicle model, with no reported errors.
I'll reach out to the maintainers of this page, as a lot of the information there is out of date and could be improved.
