Hello,

I used Slicer to segment a CT data and got a 3d file in stl format. I tried to import that stl file in tot he HyperMesh. Unfortunately, HyperMesh found it invalid and could not import it. Then I used meshio to convert the .stl file in to volumetric mesh file (.msh or .inp format). Now, I am trying to import those volumetric mesh files in to HyperMesh to perform mesh refinesment tasks. Unfortunately HyperMesh could not  read the .inp or .msh files too. What should I do now?

What is the common think to do meshing using HyperMesh after segmenting a CT/MRI data using Slicer?

So the initial STL file is not good.

    Could you share your STL?

give it a try also to SimLab, as it has very nice remeshing capabilities, assuming it can import your .stl file.
