Hi,

I have some questions when I use EDEM 2022-recurdyn r9v2 coupling.

The whole coupling simulation was slow when I chose gpu(cuda/opencl) solver on edem2022, even slower than CPU solver.

I try to choose gpu solver to run the same coupling simulation on EDEM 2020 and recurdyn r9v2,  and I found that simulation running very fast.

Total number of particles on edem is about 500000.

really confuse about this question. Could you please tell me how to improve simulation speed on EDEM 2022-recurdyn r9v2 coupling, thanks!

Hi, do you see a speed impact if you run EDEM stand-alone for the case? It should help determine if it's the EDEM case or the coupling to RecurDyn.

For the case do you have a user defined particle size distribution, if so what is the min/max scale?
