I can't import a stl file into hypermesh.

An stl file containing lattice cannot be imported into hypermesh, but other simple stl files are imported successfully.
Does anyone know how this should be solved?

(When importing the file fails, no error message is displayed, but no model is visible.)

There is free software called meshlab. Install it, and try to open the stl. If it opens, export it again with "export as" option, but this time disable the binary option. It exports it to you as an ascii file.
