Scott, Thanks for showing how to customize the joints.  However, how did you create this joint?

Raj,

Select the joint, then view the Motion Rates in the Property Editor.

0 = unconstrained degree of freedom.

Thanks, Scott.  I was able to manipulate property editor for custom properties.  My question was related to creating the joint in the first place (before assigning the custom properties).  I was not able to select the block and pendulum to recognize cylinder or any other joint type.
