Material Bed Generation
Hello,
I am trying to complete my first material bed generation. While following the steps for material bed generation in Lesson 10 which is available in the Introduction to EDEM eLearning courses, I reached the step where we have to add a factory and set the parameters. However, following the step in minute 1:22 in the lesson, I right-clicked on my geometry to select the "Add Factory" feature. Unlike in the video, I realized that the feature was unavailable. Is this due to having the free student version? Or am I making a mistake somewhere? I will attach an image for clarification.
Thank you for your time

Hi Ibrahim,
You can add a factory to any virtual geometry or to a closed volume if it's a physical geometry. Could you check if your Box geometry meets any of the aforementioned criteria?
Best regards,
Renan

Hi Ibrahim,
In addition to Renan's suggestion also verify that you have a particle created inside your bulk material. If you have no particle you will not be able to add a factory.
Kind Regards,
Eric
