Hello

I am trying to simulate a shaft under a shock load which is supported by bearings on two ends .

the shock load is passed to the   shaft threw bearings  as the bearings are the only supports for the shaft.

the shaft is modelled in 1D . I want to model a bearing  to connect to the shaft( 1D elements) at the same time I need to apply shock load at the bearing location only .

can any one please help me in this regard .

I have no 3D model. But mine is similar to the shaft in attached pic.

but at the ends roller bearings are used. The bearing housings are plced in vertical walls .

as I am only simulating the shaft , the  shock load is to be transmitted threw bearings to the shaft .

now my area of interest is only shaft.

Please help me with the method to model roller bearing with fea elements (bush or rigids ) and boundary conditions and shoch load to applied at the bearing locations only .
