Hi,

In Hypermesh 2023, Is plotting the Element Quality contour (by changing face color) of elements is the only way to find the failed elements of certain parameter say tet collapse for Tetra Elements ? or is there a direct way to do this??

    Hi Subhu,

The element quality legend under visualization options is indeed the most direct way to check element quality and to seek for failed element.

    Hi Frederic,

Unfortunately the time taken to display the element quality contour is very high.

I would have selected the failed elements way quicker in F10 panel in older versions/gui.

    Regards,

    Subhu

    Hi Subhu,

Indeed, for large model (with millions of elements) the quality calculations might be taking longer.
But speed up the performance is one of the main concern of the development team.

Anyway, you can also try deselecting some criterias from the criteria file before accessing the elem quality view.
